Experience
Meadow Club

Prepared for Meadow Club members

Melbourne, then where?

More golf, more sightseeing, or both. Add one extension or several, before your Melbourne week or after it. We handle it all.

Your trip
Melbourne, March 2027
Extensions
5, before or after
Length
3 to 6 nights each
The mix
Golf, leisure or both

Pick one, pick many.

Every extension is built to sit either side of your golf in Melbourne, and any two can be joined. Tell us how much golf you want and we'll shape the rest: flights, transfers, tee times, lodges and tables. Want something different altogether? We'll build a custom itinerary around your dates, your group and your game.

More golf

Links golf on the dunes of Tasmania, King Island and Northland.

Barnbougle and King Island by Private Jet Tasmania Te Arai Links

More sightseeing

A harbour city, wine country at harvest, and wild island coast.

Sydney The Barossa and Kangaroo Island Tasmania, for Saffire and Freycinet

Both

Every extension is half golf, half leisure. Go before Melbourne, after it, or one each side: Sydney on the way in and Te Arai on the way home, say.

Sydney

01 / New South Wales
Sydney Harbour with the Opera House and Harbour Bridge

A short flight up from Melbourne to three nights on the harbour.

Play New South Wales at La Perouse, where the holes run along the cliffs above Botany Bay. MacKenzie routed it the year before he built Meadow Club. Then The Australian, a regular home of the Australian Open. The rest of the time is Sydney's: the harbour, the Opera House and long lunches by the water.

Saffire lodge above Great Oyster Bay with the Hazards behind

Three days of links golf, then three slow days at Saffire.

Fly to Launceston and drive out to Barnbougle on the north-east coast. Play The Dunes and Lost Farm, two great courses side by side in the dunes, with the short Bougle Run if you want more. Then cross the island to Saffire on the Freycinet Peninsula: the Hazards out the window, the walk to Wineglass Bay, and oysters from the bay below.

A green set in coastal scrub above the surf on Kangaroo Island

Wine country at harvest, then an island most people never reach.

Three nights in the Barossa during vintage, when the grapes are coming in and the cellar doors are at their busiest. Then a helicopter across to Kangaroo Island for Darius Oliver's new course at The Cliffs, with the island's coast and wildlife on the doorstep. Add a round at The Grange in Adelaide if you'd like one more.
