North Course at Te Arai Links

The North Course at Te Arai is due for completion in October 2023. Book your Golf holiday with Experience Golf today.

The Te Arai team has called upon Tom Doak’s artistry to design Te Arai’s North Course.

The course will begin and finish on the ocean, but the inland stretch has a unique appeal. The system utilizes various landforms; cavernous natural bunkers, giant cliffs, and beachfront. The par-5, 5th Green, is perched high on a ridge adjacent to an ancient Maori Pa

The most dramatic holes on the course will be the 8th and 10th. The former is a long par-5 with an elevated green and a “whirlpool” hazard to the right, seven meters below the green. The second challenge is on the 10th hole, which features a deep natural bunker on the edge of the green. The second shot will test your course management and your thirst for risk. Either lay up on the left or play a long shot over the bunker.

The North Course at Te Arai Links is already taking shape, a challenging course with narrow fairways and long approach shots. However, as with all of the courses on the Te Arai Coastline, Tara Iti, and Te Arai South, you won’t lose your golf ball.
