Te Arai Links South is the first of two great new links courses, and with the first pick of the landscape, choosing 16 holes that run along this pristine coastline made sense. The course consists of heaving sand ridges and meandering valleys; the contours of the fairways will remind you of classic links courses found in Scotland – the home of golf.
The designers have delivered a creative golf course, and each hole offers a different feel from the next. There is an equal mix of traditional golf holes, quirky short par 4s, and spectacular ocean-side holes, making this course one of the most spectacular in the world.
