The North Course at Te Arai is due for completion in January 2023. Experience Golf can help you be amongst the first to play.

Once again, the team at Tara Iti have called upon the artistry of Tom Doak to design Te Arai’s North Course.

The course will begin and finish on the ocean, but the inland stretch has a unique appeal. The course utilises various landforms; cavernous natural bunkers, large cliffs and a beachfront. The par-5, 5th Green is perched high on a ridge adjacent to an ancient Maori Pa.

The most dramatic holes on the course will be the 8th and 10th. The former is a long par-5 with an elevated green and a “whirlpool” hazard to the right, seven meters below the green. The second challenge is on the 10th hole, which features a deep natural bunker on the edge of the green. The second shot will test your course management and your thirst for risk. Either lay up on the left or play a long shot over the bunker.
