Te Arai Links South course is the first cab off the rank is designed by Coore and Crenshaw, the most in-demand designers in world golf.

The designers picked the landscape at Te Arai, and the interesting terrain will make for a golf course with plenty of character. Te Arai Links settles beside the golden windswept coastline of New Zealand’s North Island.

The course consists of heaving sand ridges and meandering valleys; the contours of the fairways will remind you of classic links’ courses found in Scotland – the home of golf.

The designers have promised a creative golf course, and each hole offers a different feel from the next. There is an equal mix of both traditional golf holes and quirky modern short pars 4’s. The Oceanside holes will be as visually spectacular as the next.

Key Feature: 16 holes have Ocean Views, and eight holes are bordering the sea.

The course completion date is April 2022. It will be ranked one of the Worlds best. Te Arai will be home to the North and South courses plus Tara Iti, the World number 2 ranked course. Te Arai will soon be a name mentioned in the same breath as Pebble Beach and St Andrews.
